How to undent a ping pong ball
Got a dented ping pong ball? Don’t throw it away! You can undent it quickly and easily using the following steps.
You’ll need:
- Boiling water
- Dented ping pong ball
- A pair of scissors
- A ceramic tea/coffee mug – note,: important to use a mug, some people would use a glass but you risk burning yourself picking it up and carrying it around or moving it.
So what you do is boil the water. Then fill the mug 2/3 full, to leave space to put the ping pong ball in. Put the ball in. Hold it down with the half-opened scissors. The steam from the boiling water heats up the air inside the ping pong ball, causing it to expand. This pushes the dent out!
And there you have it. Remove the ball and it is as good as new. This way you can save a ton of money and keep reusing your ping pong balls, when other people would just throw them away.
